Bicol Police Seize Over PHP10 Million in Illegal Drugs, Arrest Suspected Dealer in Camarines Norte

LEGAZPI CITY – The Police Regional Office in Bicol (PRO-5) successfully intercepted illegal drugs valued at over PHP10 million in Camarines Norte during a buy-bust operation this past weekend.

PRO-5 Director Brig. Gen. Nestor Babagay Jr. reported that the authorities seized more than 1,500 grams of suspected shabu in Barangay Lag-on, Daet.

The operation led to the arrest of a 31-year-old suspect identified only as "Al," a resident of Naga City, who is believed to be involved in drug distribution.

Brig. Gen. Babagay emphasized that further investigations have been ordered to track down additional suspects or drug networks connected to the apprehended individual, ensuring a comprehensive crackdown on illegal drug activities in the region.
